Our Coaches
Rich Major
Rich has significant experience of coaching both team and GKs in a variety of environments. He has coached ladies at West Prem 1 and National League for Firebrands and Team Bath Buccaneers. He has coached adult GKs up to National League level and junior GKs to international level.
Rich coaches throughout the England Hockey Player Pathway. He is currently a Head Coach for Avon Development Centre and Academy Centre. He is a Performance Centre Coach at the Bristol Centre and is the Head of Goalkeeper Coaching for Bristol and Taunton Performance Centres. He was previously a GK Centrally Contracted Coach for England Hockey and has been involved at both Futures Cup and HiPaC.
Sophie Trigg
Sophie is an ex welsh GK of 10 years (under 16s to seniors) and currently plays for Clifton Robinsons at National League level. She is currently the Head of Goalkeeper coaching for Avon Development Centre and Academy Centre. She is a Performance Centre Goalkeeper Coach for Bristol and Taunton Performance Centres. She has coached junior GKs to international level.
